Yoshida Hamono Ginsan | 165 Santoku Knife (B-Finish)
Forged with one of our favourite stainless steels, we don't normally see Ginsan at this price point. A simple and authentic knife, you'll often find this style in Japanese homes.
The last 6 of these we have in stock (for the moment) we are selling as B finish. All models have some of this colouration on the blade but the last here have a lot more than the others. It's not something that affects performance etc but selling for less to make up for the look (photo).

Japanese Kitchen Knife | Santoku (Home Cook Knife)
Like it's larger cousin, the Gyuto, this is your go-to knife for any and all tasks within the kitchen. Generally Santoku knives are smaller in size than Gyuto, making them versatile in smaller home kitchens or for cooks with fledgling knife skills. Both styles of knife are multi-tasking machines that can be used for any and all cooking preparation tasks.
As is the case with most Japanese kitchen knives, the Santoku is thinner & lighter than other western chef knives, they are normally made from harder steel which can hold a sharper edge.
