A popular Japanese hatchet used for carving & sculpting timber in woodworking, as a machete in the garden, or for cutting down fire-wood. The finish is mid level, with some small makers marks, the build is solid and it's supplied with a sheath. These are well made, great value hatchets that will last a lifetime with basic care.

    * Carbon steel requires a small amount of care to prevent surface rust. Even though this can easily be removed if it does occur, we recommend you hand wash and thoroughly dry after use. For extended storage, coat in an oil like our Tsubaki
