Used throughout Japan by professional chefs and restaurants, Asahi rubber cutting boards are harder than other variants / brands yet still kind to your knife edge. These boards scratch less easily and look more like timber. You can also sand them like a timber board, flattening them out or removing deep marks (thicker boards will therefore give you more years of use)
